Mutual Respect

From a hobby photographer’s perspective, I think it’s very important to respect other photographers’ work space, especially when many photographers are present for a small group photoshoot. If one photographer is already taking pictures of people, respect him/her as the primary photographer for that session and work around him/her. If you need better angle and need the photographer to move, ask when s/he is taking a break.

A little more respect for other people goes a long way. A very long way.

Permanent Resident Change of Address

For any permanent resident residing in the States doing any move, it is necessary to notify USCIS about the move within 10 days of the move. For convenience, there is an online change of address form (AR-11) for use.

In reality, it doesn’t really matter which one you run on your computer. In the end, the only thing that matters is that you get a good computing experience, and by that I mean you accomplish what you want to do with ease and, in some instances, joy.

That’s all it matters when it comes to operating systems.

The Cost of owning Pets

Being a realistic dog owner myself, I cannot agree with the this article more. It is so important that one evaluates his/her situation before deciding on getting a pet, because it’s not just the money part that matters, but also the time and effort one needs to put in to provide the psychological and physical needs of the pet.

And as much as I believe owning a pet really helps people grow, it is also a decision that people need to evaluate critically.

How would you like to be a part of biggest hacker convention while enjoying the luxurious hotels and the entertainment that of Las Vegas, all at the same time?

Not being an advertiser for Defcon, but my past experience of Defcon was so much fun that I wish to come back again and again, year after year, to learn about the latest trend in technology and security, while visiting one of the most fun-filled city in America.

I highly recommend this convention.

Freetechbooks.com gathers a lot of free technical books into one portal, allowing people to find free technical books that are related to the topics that interest them.

MIT Open Courseware

For those who have time to do some self-learning, MIT’s Open Courseware is a great way to get yourself involved in all sorts of subject, ranging from History and Literature, to Aeronautics and Computer Science. While this is not the only place online where you can receive free self-learning material, the material you find at OC is after all from MIT, with all the quality and standard that the institute is well-known for.

Time to do some exploring.
