  Kroenen from Hellboy is a pretty cool character IMO. Think about the mask, the whole military uniform load-out, plus the cool trench coat. Although his face is pretty ugly, and his faction is probably unwelcome in Germany... He's probably still a pretty fun character to cosplay as though.

  Over X'mas I asked for a paint mask, and luckily, I got it. Well, I asked for it for a reason. Just look left. It's a short photoshoot we did at home, wife as the model, can you tell? Nevertheless, pretty cool effect, IMO.

  Was doing the poster contest thing. The silhouette versions don't quite give the feel I was aiming for, so I invited my friend in to do another quick photoshoot. And the end result is actually better IMO. Anyway, without giving out the actual poster image, here's another twist of the image. Black & white, and blue eyes. Quite malicious-looking, isn't it?

  I am revisiting HDR. Simply put, HDR combines multiple images (of the same subject generally) to creates a high dynamic range of lighting effect, essentially covering all the detail from shadows to bright light. As with all pictures, one can manipulate them to create very different effect. However, the two images you see here are simply using two different software, allowing different kind of settings easily than just using one. The one above uses Photoshop HDR tool.   Entering a poster contest with a friend, and the topic is about social engineering. The idea is to use a set of portraits to compile a mosaic, with a silhouette of a person as the bigger picture. Well, after working hard to gather 78 portraits, it's about time to try composing the final product. Granted, each picture is used many times, but that's the set we have to work off of.   A friend of mine, Miss Scarlett, got a blog at Blogger, showcasing her photography journey in her year long commitment. The idea is really cool, basically she's to take 1 picture per day for 1 whole year. While her upload is disperse, usually lasting several days without updates and all of a sudden a whole bunch up, the central idea is what counts.
