  Holy crap that was a a gruesome upgrade. Essentially, I was using mysql 4 with Drupal 5 way before D6 was out. And after D6 was released, there wasn't any easy-to-use module to help migrate to a later Mysql version (namely 5) or D6, so I waited. And after some recent research, the Drupal module backup & migrate seemed to work out great...for DB upgrade.   I am not that good at designing a theme for Wordpress, so I leave the job to designers who come up with free themes, and since the beginning of the blog, I have been using iNove, a very popular Wordpress theme made by a Chinese guy (Woo hoo!). But, there is a problem: It's used everywhere. See, it's a free theme, so this is understandable. But after visiting several blogging sites with the same theme for several times, I think the chance of that is a bit too high.   As I was setting up WordPress for my Chinese blog, I found out it was having the same issue as before. After trying the fix mentioned, nothing changed. What could have been the problem? After examining the error, I found that an error coming from the security scan plugin for WordPress. And guess what? After disabling that plugin, dashboard works again. So I guess WP Security Scan doesn't work too well with Chinese. Oh well, at least I made sure the site was set up according to WPSS's recommendations.

  A minimalistic black theme for Win XP. Check out the source page at deviantart. Also got one for GTK, just look under lassekongo83's deviantart gallery. It's a nice switch from the unofficial XP theme, Royale Noir, of which I have been using for several years.
