Being a realistic dog owner myself, I cannot agree with the this article more. It is so important that one evaluates his/her situation before deciding on getting a pet, because it’s not just the money part that matters, but also the time and effort one needs to put in to provide the psychological and physical needs of the pet.
And as much as I believe owning a pet really helps people grow, it is also a decision that people need to evaluate critically.
