That’s the goal: apply for at least 1 job per day.
Since sending in my very first job application, I have yet got a phone call back regarding companies interested in hiring me. While I understand that’s the real world scenario, only made worse by the current economic situation, I cannot help but think that, maybe, I am just not good enough for all these jobs I am applying for. But losing heart at this time doesn’t really help, and all I can do is to focus on the “now” rather than the past or the future, just like how one should do when training a dog (see dog whisperer).
So by focusing on the now, all I can do is continue what I have been doing, and send out applications to positions I am interested in. It requires putting effort into job searching daily, but that’s how things need to be when one is out of work, right?
So yeah, here I come, the real world.
