Recently I have need to use statistics to show some data, so that requires some learning of stats. Spore: Creepy & Cute Installation Problem Software | Comments Off
So I had problem installing C&C, complaining it does not detect Spore installation. After digging through the Internet looking for related information, it turns out, in the end, that there were some missing registry keys. After adding those into registry manually, things went great. What a great way to waste time. Isn't it suppose to be a game? For fun? Nevertheless, if anyone is having problem installing it, search for related posts on adding registry values. Appeared to only happen to Windows XP only, too.

Kroenen from Hellboy is a pretty cool character IMO. Think about the mask, the whole military uniform load-out, plus the cool trench coat. Although his face is pretty ugly, and his faction is probably unwelcome in Germany... He's probably still a pretty fun character to cosplay as though.

WP Security Scan Mod, Security, Software, Web | Comments Off
As I was setting up WordPress for my Chinese blog, I found out it was having the same issue as before. After trying the fix mentioned, nothing changed. What could have been the problem? After examining the error, I found that an error coming from the security scan plugin for WordPress. And guess what? After disabling that plugin, dashboard works again. So I guess WP Security Scan doesn't work too well with Chinese. Oh well, at least I made sure the site was set up according to WPSS's recommendations.

Over X'mas I asked for a paint mask, and luckily, I got it. Well, I asked for it for a reason. Just look left. It's a short photoshoot we did at home, wife as the model, can you tell? Nevertheless, pretty cool effect, IMO.

Was doing the poster contest thing. The silhouette versions don't quite give the feel I was aiming for, so I invited my friend in to do another quick photoshoot. And the end result is actually better IMO. Anyway, without giving out the actual poster image, here's another twist of the image. Black & white, and blue eyes. Quite malicious-looking, isn't it?
