So what’s the first thing you notice about this image? Why, the distortion of course!

Stitched image of 7-8 pictures shot with my wide-angle glass, and here’s the result using PS stitching: image distortion. Downside of the wide-angle? Probably, but I left it this way just because it’s very funny. The freaking Space needle got a big head!

Yeah, normally when doing pano it’s a better idea to stick with a less distorted zoom, but whatever, it was fun nonetheless.

What’s the benefit of having a cosplay gathering at a popular tourism location? You get to take pictures of both. This, was the case for January 2010′s Gasukan, and I very much enjoyed taking pictures of the Seattle center, and particularly the Space Needle, albeit the fact that there are probably millions of pictures of SN scattered throughout the Internet.

Nevertheless, handheld HDR as usual, with a wonderfully cloudy sky with no rain. It was a good day.

OK, so the panoramic view of Seattle is up, but since it’s a pano…it’s huge, and there is no way to see the picture clearly when shrunk to 500px width. So, here’s the direct link to the pano uploaded to DeviantArt.

A little side step from cosplay photography, now that I live closer to Seattle, I got the chance to go down to Gasworks park and took this picture. Probably done many times, but this is my take, and I feel pretty good about it.

I also planned to stitch a pano together, so look forward to that one! I know I am excited for it.
